Summer SaturDAY Market at the Almonte Town & Home Tour
Every year, hundreds of tourists come to visit the Almonte Home & Garden Tour, in support of the local hospital. This year they have upped their game and are hosting the TOWN & Home Tour in order to showcase the magic of small town. What better way to show off our love for small businesses than to host one of our signature vendor markets?
The Almonte Town & Home Tour gives ticket-holders the opportunity to indulge their curiosity by touring beautiful homes and historic locations around town, and directly supports two local charities: Almonte General Hospital Fairview Manor Foundation and Mississippi Valley Textile Museum.
Most of the shops downtown (Mill Street, Bridge Street, Ottawa Street, etc.) are open for shopping in between tour visits or to enjoy a delicious meal, and we are bringing in some fabulous vendors to showcase our area’s creativity in the pop-up markets downtown. This market is a little different from our usual, as we will not be closing the street and will be taking advantage of our town’s beautiful green spaces in downtown Almonte.
