Winter is Coming

I know I am holding onto fall for dear life, but I suppose good things do technically come with winter too. The snow debate can wait. As usual, Destination Almonte has exciting things planned for our community and visitors this season.

Winter Street Night Market (Holiday Edition)

The fourth and last street night market of the year is scheduled for November 27th 5-8PM, and we are super excited for the selection this season!

We are planning some fun, family-friendly activities (a fun twist on the Elf on the Shelf hunt), musical entertainment, Christmas Carolers, and a variety of tasty treats.

There are vendors & pop-ups on Mill Street, venturing into Kirkland Park along the Riverwalk, and all the way up to Bridge Street & Old Town Hall.

Winter Fest, Mid-Winter Milling, & Family Day Fun

Planning is underway for Winter 2026 as we gather our members after the chaos of the holiday season, so be patient with us as you wait for the details. We’re working on fun things for Winter Fest, the annual Mid-Winter Milling, and collaborating with the municipality of Mississippi Mills for some Family Day activities.
