Fall is on the horizon

Autumn might be a few weeks away, but September will always feel like fall. As usual, Destination Almonte has great things planned for our community and visitors this season, with an extra spooky twist this year!

Fall Street Night Market

The third street night market of the year is scheduled for September 25th 5-8PM, and we are very excited for the extra pop-ups this season!

We are planning some fun, family-friendly activities, musical entertainment, and some tasty treats.

There are vendors & pop-ups on Mill Street, venturing into Kirkland Park along the Riverwalk, and all the way up to Bridge Street & Old Town Hall.

Paddle-Boarding on the Mississippi with the DA

Our first annual witchy paddle is scheduled for Sunday, September 28th at 6AM

What a great way to get to know your fellow community members, get in touch with your nature roots, and perhaps take a dip and relax in the river.

Reach out to Micheline Dumont, DAA President, for full details.

Highland Haunt & Harvest

This year, we are launching the inaugural annual Highland Haunt & Harvest, a month-long series of spooky, witchy, and moonlit events, workshops and activities to bring Salem to the North (for all of the right reasons). Destination Almonte is all about showing off our beautiful town and improving it for residents and tourists alike, so there is family-friendly fun, after-dark events, autumnal workshops, and entertainment no matter your vibe. Stay tuned for the full list of events taking place between October 1st and the closing ceremony on the evening of November 1st.

We are still in planning-mode for November and December, so check back soon: the events calendar is updated monthly with community events, and member-submitted events are published as soon as possible so check back often!
